Once a patio or driveway has been expertly cleaned, applying a high-performance resin sealer creates a durable barrier that protects against moisture, oil stains, and UV damage. At Eden’s Edge, we use premium-grade, breathable sealants that enhance the natural colour of your stone or paving while significantly inhibiting the regrowth of weeds and moss.

Our sealing service does more than just improve aesthetics; it structuraly reinforces your surfaces. By bonding the jointing sand and sealing the pores of the stone, we ensure your outdoor space remains weather-resistant and far easier to maintain. Frequently Asked Questions

At Eden’s Edge, we have a real commitment to clarity and communication throughout the entire process. Here are some answers to common questions we receive regarding our professional resin sealing services:

A professional seal typically lasts between 3 to 5 years. This duration depends on the type of stone or paving and the level of foot or vehicle traffic it receives. We provide specific maintenance advice to help you maximize the lifespan of your treatment.

For the best results, you should keep foot traffic off the area for at least 3–4 hours. For driveways, we recommend waiting 24–48 hours before parking vehicles to ensure the resin has fully cured and bonded.

Not necessarily. While some "wet-look" finishes can be smoother, we offer specialized anti-slip additives that can be mixed into the resin. This ensures your outdoor space remains safe and provides excellent traction even in wet weather.

Yes. By sealing the pores of the stone and bonding the jointing sand together, we create a barrier that makes it significantly harder for weed seeds to take root. It also reduces moisture absorption, which is the primary cause of moss and algae growth.

Sealing requires a completely dry surface and a window of dry weather for the resin to cure correctly. Because of this, the spring and summer months (April through September) are generally the ideal time for application.
